Post breakfast, full day to explore Port Blair. $$Port Blair is the capital of the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. It is located on the east coast of the South Andaman Island. Port Blair is the gateway to the pristine islands. $$You will drive to the anthropological museum, which is a historical delight and makes the tourists explore the life of Paleolithic islanders. Then proceed to visit Sagarika - the Khadi and handicraft cottage industries emporium and also visit Samudrika which is a naval marine museum. Also proceed to visit Chatham saw mill (remains closed on Sundays). $$Later in the afternoon, you can start your visit with CORBYN’S COVE BEACH which is about 7 kms from Port Blair. The beach is perfect for swimming. With pleasant blue sea water and lush green coconut palms, the beach allows visitors to relax alongside and enjoy several water sports available on the shore of the beach. $$Further, you will visit the National Monument the Cellular Jail, also known as Kala Pani. The three storied building has 698 cells that are connected to each other in the shape of a starfish. The place is famous for offering a fantastic sound and light show in the evening offering a delightful insight into the historical struggle for independence (remains closed on Mondays). $$Evening, the sound and light show is one of the most engaging attractions that Port-Blair has to offer.
